Hi everyone, notice all the buttons on the bottom of the text box when you post a blog or create other content? That is a 'Rich Text Editor, and basically it allows you to edit your text in a better way. You can make items bold, underline, italicize and just about everything you are use to doing when composing emails. You can even insert a picture:
I hope everyone enjoys this feature and please stay tuned for the instructional video on this new tool!
Apparently, realtor.com has decided to simplify their front end a bit(search in particular), which is a good thing. This is the approach third party real estate sites have taken, and a approach that has proven highly successful(think how simple google.com is). Please take a look at it and feel free to comment on your impression of the new layout. I predict that this new layout will stick, and be in the best interests of everyone. However, I hope they simplify it even further.....
By the way, a good outline of the new features can be found at : http://activerain.com/blogsview/503858/Realtor-com-Launches-NEW
Here is a great video regarding the shift to internet property searching!
Enjoy!

This is a test of how well incorporating our personal calendars into our blogs will work..... bare with me everyone.
Everyone please note: In order to see my event details, you need to be logged in(in another window) to your PruMail(google). Otherwise, my events will just show as 'busy'.
Attention agents,
Now you can directly link to your blog(s) in an email to your clients or peers, they will not need to login to see it. Also, the company calendar is now public. Please note that you still need to log in to access the forms section, directory, as well as to post your own blogs, participate in forums, and blog on others' posts.
The catch is that if you would like to post a blog, please contact the office admin of the manager, and they can arrange that for you.
Enjoy.
How is everyone? I hope everyone is doing alright with the new site an email(for our new colleagues). Allow me to remind everyone that although I seem to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off most of the time, I am still all ears to your issues. I will do what I can as soon as I can. I would like to address a few issues to two specific offices right now.
Hinsdale:
You will no longer have to repeatedly log in to your file share. In fact, you should never be prompted to log in to the local file share from a work station in the office(with the exception of the updesk).
Printer's Row:
The two hotel area workstations with phones now have the FONCall feature enabled on them. Ask me what that is if you do not know, otherwise, you will eventually stumble upon its awesomeness.
Everyone else, my digital door is always open(email). Please don't hesitate to ask me about any issues you may have that the administrative manager can not resolve.
Also, lets blog more!
It was some time ago that I was trying to get Google calendar to sync with outlook via some cumbersome third party software. I really wished Google would do something to alleviate this process. Well, a solution has arrived. Those of you who rely on your outlook calendaring, yet wish you could have access to your calendar anywhere(like Google calendaring), please check this blog out:

This is a test blog to see whether or not a person can be selective about their blog post and what users can view it.
I came across this article today, it's a good read if you are curious about blogging. You do not need to sign up at blogger.com or any blog site, every user of the staff site(this means you) has a blog by default.

Have a great day!
I am pleased to announce that the agent shares are accessible via the 'File Share' links on our staff site. If you like, you can access them at the following links, bypassing the staff site:
http://file.ppcre.com/pr_file.php for the Printer's Row File Share.
http://file.ppcre.com/hin_file.php for the Hinsdale File Share.
You can bookmark these links as well and go directly to your office share.
Some of you may be asking what all the fuss is about the file share anyway. Well, basically the file shares provide a safe place to store/backup your files. By safe, I mean that we create extensive backups of your files. The only condition is that you should not store private files. Although not accessible by the public, there is no interoffice security for your individual shares. So please avoid storing official legal documents and other sensitive documents.
Any questions/comments can be directed to me, but why not just comment on this blog post? What a great idea!
-Steve
