Frugal Tip for Refilling Your Foam Soap Dispensers this Holiday - Chicago Homes Tips and Advice

It's so easy and inexpensive to refill your foamy hand soap dispensers. Just put 10 or so drops of traditional liquid hand soap into the foam pump dispenser (enough to coat the bottom), then fill the rest of the container with distilled water. Distilled prevents the metal screen inside the dispenser from clogging. You can even add a couple drops of your favorite scented shampoo (along with some unscented regular liquid hand soap) and you'll have instant, scented foam soap for your kitchen or bath (without having to purchase an expensive vile of essential oil). Shampoo is safe for your hands, as it is for head and hair, so it's a great way to give aromatherapy to that powder room guest soap.
