Profile of Success
Mr. White has been active in the real estate business since the early 70's. While working for a small real estate firm in his hometown in central Indiana and even prior to graduating with honors from Purdue University, Bill sold his first home. Upon receiving his BS in Civil Engineering and MBA, emphasis in Real Estate, he set sail for the big city of Chicago and accepted a job as project engineer and corporate pilot for a large international contractor. While acting as project manager for several multi-billion dollar projects on both sides of the globe, Bill continued to develop his real estate sales skills working with Rich Port Realtors located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Bill is a strong closer and an active real estate investor, having owned several 4-flats, 6 and 12-unit buildings, several loft units, 2 townhomes, a large row home and several downtown commercial storefronts. Ever the entrepreneur, White has owned and operated the historic Kasey's Tavern on Printers' Row for 20+ years. When Bill is not negotiating a better price for a client or cold calling FSBO's, he can be found riding one of his polo ponies on the grass fields at the Barrington Polo Club or buzzing around Chicago on his 61 Corvette.
Additionally, in 1992, White has found time to obtain his jet helicopter pilot rating and has flown traffic reporting and gas pipe survey routes around the Chicagoland area. Always the one seeking the challenge, Bill has spent several springs returning large sailboats from the Baja of Mexico to Newport Beach, California. He currently resides in the historic Prairie District of Chicago.
